Richard's father bought this farm in 1935 when Richard was 2 years old and he has been here ever since.
In 2000 he quit raising hogs and turned the pastures into pumpkin patches.
He started selling pumpkins, squash, indian corn, broom corn and gourds. In the winter he works in his shop and makes birdhouses, benches, cupboards and planters out of old barn wood. Richard and Joan combined their love of antiques with the store they opened in 2005 and also offer some for sale.
